PUBLIC NOTICE – TEMPORARY SUMMER EMPLOYEE
The City of Elysian will be accepting applications for a temporary summer employee. Hours are 35 – 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday – Friday (as needed). Job will consist of mainly mowing of grass with occasional help in the public works department. Applicant must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid MN Driver’s License.

PUBLIC WORKS WORKER POSITION
The City of Elysian will be accepting applications for the position of Public Works Worker – Part Time / On Call. The part time Public Works Worker position performs routine maintenance work of City streets, parks, equipment and buildings. This position may be up to 30 hours per week depending on work load and will include some weekends and evenings. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid Minnesota Class “D” driver’s license. Must be proficient in operations of snow removal and lawn equipment to the satisfaction of the Public Works Supervisor. This position is subject to a background check. The salary is $15.00 per hour. This position is eligible for the accrual of (2) two hours vacation leave per month.
