Turtle Downs sees big crowds for the fourth

Turtle Downs Raceway in Elysian was the place to be after the parade. The 4th of July race had several heats, trimming the field of entrants down to eight for the championship. The turtle handled by Alec Mulcahey of Janesville was the winner.

The turtles take off in the final race of the day. Alec Mulcahey's turtle is the 2007 champion.
