Cars lined Main Street as far as the eye could see for the 13th annual show.

Main Street Elysian became Car Show Central as nearly 150 shiny autos lined up on display for the annual 4th of July event. Organizer, Rick Kendall, said it's the biggest show and spectator turnout Elysian's ever had. Sunday's nice weather was a factor, but ask any of the auto aficionados and they say it's the quality of the cars and the way things are run that draws people to Elysian for a show that features 18 classes. The event is sponsored by Elysian Area Chamber of Commerce. (Scroll down to see award winners list and a photo gallery.)
