Our July 4th Celebration positions Elysian as the place to be for this patriotic holiday. This is a 4 day event with approximately 10,000 attending the Grand Parade which steps off at 2 p.m. on July 4th. With the help of over 250 volunteers, it has become our community's signature event. LAKE AREA WOMEN PH: 507-267-4250 A civic organization that promotes family-oriented community events including the Holiday House Walk, Shopping with Mrs. Claus, Children's Easter Party, Kid's Fishing Contest, Kiddie Parade and more. Many events raise funds that are directed into bettering our town. Placing benches along the bike trail, creating flower gardens at the park and beautifying Main Street are just a few recent projects. Box 240 Elysian, MN 56028 PH: 507-267-4620 With a museum and grounds featuring over 10,000 artifacts, an authentic log home, genealogy center and a building filled with implements, Elysian's "History Hill" interprets the history of the community and Le Sueur County.
