Not one day goes by without my hearing what a great place Elysian
has become.
What makes for our community's charm? Being surrounded by lakes and the wonderful rest and relaxation they offer. The ease and convenience of small town living. Meeting visitors, seeing them enjoy the trail, our shops and tourist spots.
All of these things and more make Elysian special.
As Mayor, I point to our residents as Elysian's most important asset.
The business people have a sense of pride. Neighbors support each other. City leaders keep hometown spirit in mind when planning for the future.
For me, these are the things that make little Elysian stand tall.
Visiting our web site will show you what I mean. Our Events page is filled with local happenings. We're set up to welcome development. We established a new City Hall to better serve residents. A click into our Relocation link lists the quality services and amenities in place to accomodate newcomers. Our education system is highly ranked. And our natural and historic resources are preserved for generations to come.
With a town as small as Elysian, one might wonder - what kind of traffic does your web site see? Since it launched three years ago, we've had 20,000 visitors come through. Our web site is the place to keep up on all the great things going on in the community. For visitors to the area, we're proud to present a snapshot of our great town.
