Celebrating the holidays in Elysian

Area children were treated to pancakes for breakfast, shopped for their family
and wrapped gifts at the annual Shopping with Claus event in Elysian.

In a small town, celebrating the holidays means many events that bring the community together.
Elysian's festive season kicks off every year with the lighting of trees and decorations on Main Street.
The Shopping with Mrs. Claus event brings in families from around the Elysian area.
They enjoy a pancake breakfast and then the children shop for their family
in the boutique and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The entire community gets together for a potluck and many attend the annual wine tasting event.
Each year, several residents open their homes to the public for the Holiday House Walk.
Members of the Elysian community remember their neighbors by donating gifts to the Giving Tree.
