Family Bike Ride

Many families participated in the ride in spite of a 100-degree temperature.

Riders stopped at checkpoints set up in towns along the 20 mile bike trek

where they were greeted by community volunteers and enjoyed refreshments.

Bikers took part in a dart game to win prizes donated by local businesses

in Madison Lake, Elysian, Waterville and Morristown.

The annual family ride is sponsored by the Southern Minnesota Lakes Region Associaton

to showcase the communities along the Sakatah Singing Hills Bike Trail.
