City of Elysian Proclamation Declaring
Nick Fischer Recognition Day
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Elysian City Council, City of Elysian, notes that on Saturday, March 3, 2007, a student of the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown School District and a member of the Elysian community, won the 215 pound State Wrestling Title, and,
WHEREAS, Nick Fischer being the first WEM student/athlete to win a state title in Waterville-Elysian-Morristown school history, and,
WHEREAS, that after strong determination, a large amount of effort, hard work and dedication, Nick Fischer has achieved the deserved award.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Elysian and the Elysian Community hereby wishes to honor Nick Fischer for his due diligence in his quest for this prestigious recognition and honor with the designation of Saturday, March 31, 2007 as NICK FISCHER DAY.
