Todd Landgraff of North Mankato came in first with an official time of 52:32.8. Michelle Creasman of Faribault had the fastest time in the women's category, coming in at 1:03:08.3. In team categories, Laura Hughes of Mankato was the first woman across the finish line to turn in a time of 57:15.0 for her team's performance. A men's team listed as Adam, James and Dimler came in just ahead of Hughes at 57:01. This is the third time Landgraff has claimed the top honor at Rookie's. Laura Hughes was the first woman in, the third member of a women's team that took first place. Her teammates, Sara Sneer and Brittany Laughlin come forward with her to accept their medals as Master of Ceremonies, Tim Penny looks on.
