Boat Parade begins beautiful 4th in Elysian

Area residents and visitors took to the lake Friday morning for the annual boat parade sponsored by Lake Francis Lake Association. This annual 4th of July event attracts dozens of boats and hundreds of spectators to enjoy the decorated craft circling the lake.

The Considine group went with a Minnesota Sesquicentennial theme for their first prize.
